Dr. Edith Mwebaza Basalirwa (Mrs) is currently a Senior Lecturer and Dean, Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (FESBM). She oversees both the administrative and academic functions and activities in the Faculty and departments of the Faculty. She manages the governing issues in the Faculty. She is a business consultant, researcher (Mixed Methods Methodology), a trainer, mentor and coach in the business area. She possesses skills in the development of research and academic programmes, development and management of program budgets; management of staff selection, appointments, promotions and remuneration; management of seminars, workshops and conferences; resource mobilization; establishment and management of collaborations; chairing meetings; development of Strategic plans; capacity building for both public and private institutions among others. She is married and a mother.
